Sorry for the late response. Github did not send me a notification about a new issue. I should be responding faster now hopefully.

As your version did not have a update since 2 years I assumed it to be abandoned, so unless you plan on coming back to maintain it, I am not sure merging it back is the best way to go forward, as I do want to keep updating it (at least keeping it working with future StarSector releases).
I was thinking about making a forum thread for this fork and linking back to your thread, like you linked back to the thread of Jaghaimo.

Let me know your opinion on that.

I want to keep it updated too, but I haven't had a computer to run Starsector in a couple years due to life circumstances. But I should be back now. Message me on the forums and lets figure out a plan to work together to keep it updated.
