BTT UPS

Hi, I was looking for a PLR solution for klipper and find your script. I was wondering how to hack it to work with BTT UPS Module.

Instead of LOG_Z when layer change, I was thinking in LOG_Z only in case of powerloss event. The UPS gives me 30 seconds to log zed info and park the nozzle of print.

What to you think about it? Do you see any possible problem on this approach?

I also came here just to open this kind of issue.
It would be amazing to couple this with a BTT UPS.

Honestly, that surprises me to not see this either. I have the BTT UPS. I bought it before I realized it only matters to Marlin.

Feels like a waste. A project like this is perfect for it.

Hi,

my own solution to BTT UPS was to change capacitors from 5F to 10F and signal set up like gcode_button. The change of capacitance is crucial because gcode is executed after 4 seconds and 10F can get you 8 second. Enough to park head.

Is there an issue of it logging Z every layer change? Just curious

Log_Z wasn't issue. Just make my own Macro for start after loosing power. I just look at last saved z_height and delete everything before that in gcode and just write the Macro on first line of gcode.
