How to update translations

We have begun adapting your version to local conditions. As a first step, I've completed 100% of the Hungarian translation of the latest version (3.2.12.61).
What is the best way to share with You and include it in the future versions?
There will certainly be parts that change later on, and I will share those as well, of course.

Open an issue (not a discussion) and attach the all file of your new translation to it. You can create it in your translation folder with ./locales.pl -a -m. I will replace translation hu_utf with it. If there are differences in individual translations files, ask for instructions there.
Somewhere in the future we have to think about how to solve the cases where the word order in Hungarian and similar languages differs from English (for example numbers inside, not at the end of a sentence).

I use
do "./admin";
instead of
do "admin";

and other similar.

First of all. Thank You Tekki for this fantastic job with the new version.

I have read how to translate in the new version. However, I have a small problem. There are certain words/expressions that need to be translated into Hungarian depending on where they are used. For example, a word may have a different meaning in the oe environment than in hr.
How can this be solved in the new version?

The documentation is not clear enough about this. To use different translations at different places, the file all_diff.yml has to be edited. It's structure is:

texts:
  English Term:
    script1: Translation in Script 1
    script2: Translation in Script 2

After an update, call ./locales.pl.
An example for such a file is locale/chd_utf/all_diff.yml.

As it's said in the docs, if it seems necessary to use this file, the reason is probably not your language but the code itself.
Pull requests for translations should only contain the YAML files.

I'm still not sure if it's a good idea to distribute the binary files with the software. This causes merge conflict for everyone who is editing translations on his local machine (the same as before with the old format).
