After 2 months of the release of stable version 1.1, the release that brought us to the right stage of evolution, the speed of library development has now slowed down, but in light of the massive changes since release 1.1, I am publishing this note to share with you the details of the future.
Changing the Versioning System
Previously, we were releasing updates in 1.0.x (1.1.0 was the first update outside of this category, due to extensive changes) but now we will be using major.minor.patch versioning depending on the situation. This does not change the previous versions, so the next version will be 1.2.
Rethinking Functions
We have a lot of functions in different categories in the library, for the next version I am going to modify or remove some of them and introduce new ones, this is related to my experience with Elementum, I have experienced very well that standalone modules are more user-friendly for different functions. All in all, I'm going to take the library more toward functions that are used over and over again in most projects.
Participatory
Considering that I personally don't spend a lot of time making games and have mostly focused on apps and plugins, I personally can't be aware of the needs of a game developer at Godot, so I reiterate, if you are interested in contributing in any way, don't hesitate at all! There are also a few guides available on project wiki.
Code easily!
