how is the correct way to update to a new version?

1.Pull the version and exchange new files or
2. Pull the version and go through the setup process again

@thepilzkopf Hi sorry, didn't see there was a new message here. Discussions don't really send notifications on github, you need to ask things as Issues or we won't see them!

When you update the files to v2.0 you will need to go through the setup process again anyway because there are new settings that didn't exist before. It should be fine for you to just run the setup and it will add the missing settings to your existing settings (the setup should only ask you questions for the missing settings).

However it might be an idea to just start fresh and do a fresh setup run from scratch. Up to you though, it shouldn't be necessary.

For 2.0 this was clear for me.
But what about smaller changes like a 2.0.1?
