Status — can't reproduce from the description. Which screen, and disabled how (controls greyed, black frame, won't start)?
Suspect — by design: Coordinator.play(_ playlist:at:) marks entries isVideo only for .youtubeChannel, so playlist entries route audio-only through VLC and video never shows for them.
