How to reproduce

1 start the slicer
2. load a bigger model into you project
3. select the 0.2 mm nosel
4. slice
5. the programm will close / crash

This is mine for fix for now, not a beauty but i can somehow work again:

The Distrobox AppImage Fix: Step-by-Step Guide

Important: Execute these commands in this exact order. Make sure you wait for your terminal prompt to change in Step 4 (indicating you are inside the container) before moving on to Step 5.

On the native host system (e.g., Kubuntu 26.04):

1. sudo sysctl -w kernel.apparmor_restrict_unprivileged_userns=0
2. sudo apt update && sudo apt install distrobox podman
3. distrobox create -i ubuntu:24.04 -n orca-box
4. distrobox enter orca-box

Inside the container (orca-box):
5. sudo apt install fuse
6. sudo apt install libwebkit2gtk-4.1-0 libgtk-3-0 libgstreamer-gl1.0-0 gstreamer1.0-plugins-base gstreamer1.0-plugins-good gstreamer1.0-plugins-bad gstreamer1.0-libav
7. sudo ldconfig
8. /home/username/Desktop/Snapmaker_Orca_Linux_AppImage_Ubuntu2404_V2.3.4.AppImage --appimage-extract-and-run

This is happening to me as well in 2.3.5 for several different models. Here are the logs for snorca and the OS App logs

update: I've done further testing on this. I can duplicate the issue at will. If I have filament profiles loaded that have different Shrinkage (XY) and Shrinkage (Z) settings. If I load all 4 filament profiles with all the same shrinkage settings, it slices normally. If I mix profiles that have different shrinkage setttings, the app force closes with no notice or error on screen.
