Reset progress and cups (or multiple saves/users)

Would appreciate some way to reset user progress and cups.
Alternatively, being able to have several profiles would be fine too ! But require more work.

@Cwpute thanks for the feedback. If you have the play store version installed the progress is tied to the play games service and they would basically get synced once you reopen the app. Of you are on the F-Droid version you could clear the app data (but this would also delete XP etc)

I feel like your request is niche but I'm happy to get convinced otherwise and leave the issue open for now

Not really niche i think, since i'm playing the game with a young relative who doesn't own a phone, so multiple profiles would allow both of us to play at different moments and compare our progress. I'm pretty sure many other people would benefit from that feature :)

What system are you on? On android you could setup a separate user profile for you relatives: Settings > System > Users

I haven't used this feature myself yet but it sounds like it would do exactly that. Just not sure about the UX of switching users

I actually have the same issue and reasoning as @Cwpute. I even have two juniors that I would like them to use your (wonderful!) app, and it would be very convenient to be able to reset progress and stats.

I am on android, but unfortunately I don't have the option to add multiple users. I know it was a thing at some point, but I think it's not available on phones anymore.

@SimonSchubert just tried the Multiple users feature of android (i have andriod 11), and it's really not something i'd like to use with my young relatives: every default app and behavior from the phone is back, as if factory new, which is not something i'd like to impose on the young relatives i'd like to share BrainCup witg.

@Cwpute thank you for testing out the android multi user feature and coming back with the feedback. Fair enough. I think you convinced me. I have received several other feedbacks regarding the multi mode outside of this issue thread. I will plan it in next iterations
