When Refresh on metadata change is active and Render location is set to Footer, and scrolled down to the bottom of the note, the scroll state will jump up when the file is modified.
- Create a fresh vault.
- Fill the
Welcome.md note with enough text.
- Create a new note.
- Install and enable the "Virtual Content" plugin.
- Edit the "Default rule" in the plugin settings:
- Set
Folder path to root.
- Set
Content Text to "![[Untitled.md]]"
- Leave
Render location set to Footer
- Save
- Observe the last line jumping to the bottom. You can however still scroll past it. That would be fine, but ...
- Go back into the plugin settings and turn on
Refresh on metadata change.
- Scroll past end, type any character, wait a second or two: The last line will again jump to the bottom. You're not stuck though - you can repeatedly scroll past end, type something, see it jump again.
