Found during the 2026-07-24 cross-repo parity sweep. Distinct from the closed DDA/targeted-MS2 case (#2).
CORPUS.md:152-178 ("Open Issues" section) documents that for Exploris 480 DIA files (PXD035500) and Fusion Lumos DIA files (PXD031322) - both already in the validation corpus - the isolation-window center m/z can't be recovered: body[8..12] holds a frequency-space value (~3.8-5.0), there's no reaction structure (np=0), and no known m/z field exists anywhere in the DIA scan-event body.
Not blocked-external - the corpus files needed to investigate are already present - but it needs real new reverse-engineering work; the encoding is still unknown. No existing issue tracks this specifically (checked via gh issue list --search" isolation"/"DIA"/"frequency" - only the closed #2 matches).
Effort: needs new RE work.
