[Bug] Music loops every one (1) second

Description

Suddenly, now when I open the game the music loops every one (1) second. Title track loops, intro movie loops, game menu loops, always at one second.

Is it a regression?

Maybe?

Music does not loop.

Music loops.

Strangely, this has started happening to me all of a sudden as well. I opened the game and noticed the sound was looping in weird ways, not just the music but the sounds that play when i right click a castle, etc. After i enter the options menu and exit, all sound effects suddenly cease to play, so the click sound when i press a button doesnt play either.

I tested on an old 1.04 installation that does not have the fan patch, and the sound is broken in that one too. I wonder if windows broke something recently with an update...

Unfortunately, the log doesnt appear to contain anything useful...

Edit : Restarting my PC seems to have fixed it.

It turned out to be a latent bug from the OG release, the developers would needed to track their timers to something and they chose machine uptime as the anchor. Unfortunately after a long Windows session with modern dates it overflows the variable type they used (about 22 hours of uptime in Windows). Resetting the machine fixes it because your uptime returns to 0.

Fix is in. You can now leave your PC running 70000+ hours. Feels enough.
