I’ve prepared a substantial upstream contribution stack and wanted to check whether you’re interested in merging it, and whether you’d prefer the current split or a smaller first slice.
Current stack:
The stack is intentionally split into focused slices:
- typed InvestigationState persistence plus runtime loop guardrails
- workspace init and migration flow
- long-form audio transcription
- native Chrome DevTools MCP integration
- a narrow OpenAI OAuth plus gpt-5.4 follow-up
I explicitly kept local-only endpoint changes and other fork-specific provider tuning out of the upstreamable slices.
If you’re open to upstreaming this work, I’m happy to:
- keep the current 5-PR split
- collapse it into fewer PRs
- or start with just the first slice and hold the rest
No rush. I just wanted to move this into a public thread since DM hasn’t been reliable.
