Display of attribute description in new tag libraries #151

Description

@ailie-s

In the updated tag libraries for EAD4, paragraphs are not being separated in the 'Description and Usage' section. See for example the shared attribute @id. This is also an issue in the 'Values' section for attributes, eg @status in the draft updated EAC2 tag library.

Wanted change/feature

  • Text:

Reporting a bug

  • Text: When multiple paragraphs are included in an attributes 'Description and Usage', there is no break appearing between them. The <p> tags are being ignored and the text follows on as if it is another sentence in a single paragraph. This appears to be happening in both the PDF and HTML tag libraries.
  • This is also an issue for the 'Values' section for attributes in the EAC2 Tag Library.

Suggested Solution

  • Text:

Steps to Reproduce (for bugs)

  1. For 'Description and Usage' examples, see: @id, @conventionDeclarationReference and others.
  2. For 'Values' example, see: @status in EAC2 Tag Library
