The mundane tab now has a random events system which can occur when days are processed. More possible random events (perhaps some that depend on conditions, eg your job) would flesh out the system and make it more interesting and less repetitive. Also, a few events that hint at the occult could add early spice - perhaps events relating to your dreams?
