An AI summary of specific folders or all RSS feeds would be awesome.

Second this. But I think a good start would be to have an icon in the article view to summarize individual articles.

So either manually article per article. Or as you say - automatically based on rules.

I also believe this is something that Apple Foundation Models could handle locally on the device. That would be a killer feature for me at least - not being tied to cloud providers.

Regarding the UI - I think a good placement for the summary would be just above the title in the article view. In some sort of "code snippet" kind of UI.
