Experiment design is a new sub-applications. It allows to choose from proposed templates (1 domain; 2 domains; 3 domains etc) namelists already pre-filled to be copied in a workspace; or import an existing experiment to check with experiment advise

• Ideal / Real

• Number of sub-domain; target horizontal resolution approximately for each.

• Are all subdomain plugged at initial time ?

• Number of segments (if different from 1, duration of 1 segment, duration of the experiment)

• prepare scripts to run on a specific cluster (begins with Belenos and nuwa, Adastra ?). Need to collect information on grid size from Ingredients

• Create a new Experiment or Import an Experiment : then some widgets to guess the workflow steps (especially for existing Experiment). The final layout should be shared between a Creation or an Import.

• Ingredients can be added from "Create a new experiment" it is optional (the step can be skipped). It helps populating the namelist from very simple template, example of ingredients :

• If Ideal : 1D, 2D or 3D ; If 3D NAM_PERT_PRE is initiated

• If Ideal : forcing type;

• Real: initial and coupling from AROME/Meso-NH or other (for NAM_PREP_SURF_ATM) ?

• Real : vertical levels from AROME or edit in the page

• More on all namelist type of EXSEG grouped ? (diagnostics, advection, physics, surfex diag etc)

• Once creation is done, Button to "Copy and Edit in Workspace"

• Upload namelist : once the workflow is guess, several button "Upload" is proposed for the user to load its namelists regardless the way they are stored (in one folder, multi-folder, shared with other experiments etc). Upload namelist is also available for a Created experiment (to allow create a new experiment from an existing one with one or several existing namelist

• Experiment advise : once import namelist from existing experiment is done; an Advise layout is displayed dedicated to workflow checks.
