Validate XAIOS on physical Apple, ARM server, Intel, and Xeon hardware #19

Description

@Pummelchen

Objective

Collect immutable physical-hardware correctness and benchmark evidence for the XAIOS platform before any Apple, Intel Desktop, or Xeon production-readiness claim.

QEMU boundary

QEMU gates validate architecture, ABI, failure handling, and deterministic device contracts. They cannot establish physical ISA availability, sustained bandwidth, NUMA locality, interrupt affinity, NVMe durability, thermals, power, or production network behavior.

Acceptance criteria

  • Apple Silicon: physical NEON differential tests and canaries; native macOS engine soak; optional Metal capability and correctness evidence when implemented
  • Generic ARM server: UEFI/SBSA platform discovery, PSCI/GICv3, SVE/SVE2 when present, physical NIC/storage, and many-core scheduling evidence
  • Intel Desktop: AVX2 differential tests, hybrid-core placement, SMT policy, physical storage/network, and long-run service evidence
  • Xeon: AVX-512/VNNI/AMX state and known-answer canaries, SRAT/SLIT/HMAT policy, local/remote memory accounting, worker-gang placement, and NUMA-aware storage evidence
  • Production-width immutable model mappings and direct I/O under memory pressure
  • Physical SSH/network/security soak and independent security review
  • Raw immutable artifacts record source/executable revisions, hardware/firmware, exactness mode, workloads, repetitions, and failures
  • All performance statements satisfy docs/BENCHMARK-CONTRACT.md

Blocker

This issue is intentionally blocked while work is restricted to QEMU and until suitable physical Apple, Intel Desktop, ARM server, and Xeon systems are available. QEMU success must not close it.
