Low Shulker farm speed since switch to PurPur

Describe the bug
A clear and concise description of what the bug is:

Ever since the purpur update my shulker farms have been far slower. I have been in the middle of building them for a while now, but before the update I had 1 out of 4 of the farms done. I finished building the farms after the update and now all 4/4 farms are making about half the amount that the first farm made on its own.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior: (remove unused steps please)

1. Go to my farms
2. See them running slow

Expected behavior
A clear and concise description of what you expected to happen.

One farm should make 5 shells per minute so 4 farms should make about 20 per minute
