[IMPROVEMENT] Create custom error types for better error handling.

Inspired by the comments in #377 (comment) and #377 (comment), we have noticed that we can improve error management by creating custom errors.

This issue is exactly about that, the goal is to clean "generic" errors across the repo and create appropriate custom error types instead.
