Both plant-height estimators (Model 1 - Colour, Model 2 - Edge) return uncalibrated estimates and often disagree on the same photo.
Limitations:
- Neither model is validated against real measured heights.
- Accuracy depends heavily on photo conditions: plain background, the full pot visible, and the pot actually being the 9 cm reference.
- The Edge model is especially sensitive to textured/cluttered backgrounds.
Possible improvement: validate against a set of photos with known heights and calibrate the pixels-per-cm scaling, or add a configurable reference.
