Thats great. I hope Slava and Ragnar can have a new child. Ehhh. Meaning Ragnar getting some of the dev-tree from Bjorn. I could play minutes with the little ships in the network view :)

Actually I am writing an article for a german magazin, pwanagotchi and Bjorn, but I better leave Bjorn out for a preview of the dev-tree and maybe Ragnar.

Ragnar is a fork of Bjorn, but doesn't link to upstream. AFAIK, Ragnar is the most active fork other than repos with fixes to run Bjorn on Trixie, which Ragnar allready works with! For example, Bjorn's dev branch hasn't had activity in 3 mo. and the last discussion was in June 2025.

I don't speak for the maintainer, but the fastest way to get what you want would probably be to fork Ragnar, add the features you mentioned from Bjorn, and then create a PR. They seem to be willing to have help and are responsive to issues, which is a good base for contributing to an active project!

And yes Ragnar is completely detached from Bjorn, Ragnar is way too complex and any update from Bjorn could break it.

But all contributors are welcome.

Latest update support the 2.7 e-ink and button support to switch views and settings.
