I've got a strange used PSP-1006 with 6.61 PRO-C Infinity (presumably 2.0), which I couldn't properly downgrade to 6.61 OFW, because of DRNFFFFFFCD error (already tried KeyCleaner, no use). Both ChronoSwitch and HOME on bootup lead to 6.61+Infinity, where I can successfully run both ARK Loader for ARK-4 and FasterARK for ARK-5 and get into working Live version. Though it still lives under Infinity and resets to PRO-C after full shutdown.
DC10 would install, but not work (L on bootup leads to black screen), probably because of lacking Pandora battery. Couldn't convert mine into Pandora, so it could be some Chinese clone with bad EEPROM.
I'm now confiused. I still want to upgrade to ARK-5 with cIPL, but afraid of bricking the console.
- Is ARK-5 compatible with Infinity somehow? It is possible to replace PRO-C with it and keep Infinity?
- If not or not recommended, why could OFW installation fail?
- If not or not recommended, is it possible to run DC without Pandora battery, or I should either obtain it or try Baryon Sweeper? It it is possible, I could run MagicMemoryCreator to be sure the flash card is compatible.
- If Infinity is okay, what are ARK-5 specific actions, or ARK-4 guide is okay?
