Upload does Not Populate if Instrument is Accessed within a Repeated Event

In REDCap one has the option to repeat an instrument within an event.

PaperTrail works with separate events for the same instrument, but when I repeat that instrument within an event, PaperTrail does not work within that event.

The instruments and fields are the same for both events:

• The target upload field is "pdf_consent" inside the "saved pdf instrument
• The upload happens automatically when the following two fields inside the form "Consent" are non-null: consent_signature and consent_countersignature
• REDCap is built so that we can do the above in different events with the same instruments and fields.
• The events are "consent" and "reconsent"
• Paper trail is set to "on current event"

With the above build, the following is true:

• If neither Consent event nor Reconsent event are set to repeat, Paper Trail works as expected for both
• If either event is set to repeat, Paper Trail fails to upload when accessing the form inside that event, but still works if the instrument is accessed within the non-repeated event.
