No. Overture does not release into proprietary formats. Please use industry standards, like ours, and don't allow yourself to be locking a single vendors format like OpenStreetMap to avoid vendor lock-in in the the future. |

Hi Stillhart (@stillhart). Overture has several examples in our docs of using various tools to work with the GeoParquet files we release each month. I encourage you to check out the Getting Started and Examples sections. You might also be interested in the logic we use to convert from OSM tags to the Overture schema in our base theme. |

The osm.pbf fileformat has quite a rich ecosystem, especially very developer friendly things like osm2pgsql.
Is there a way to get .osm.pbf files from overturemaps? What alternatives are there?
In general, I can't find some kind of toolchain docs page on overturemaps. I'm not crazy into .osm.pbf, I just wonder in general.
