Describe the Bug

I am unable to run openvox8 agent on AlmaLinux 10 (x86_64_V2)

puppet agent -t

/opt/puppetlabs/puppet/bin/ruby: CPU ISA level is lower than required

Expected Behavior

I was hoping this would work on older hardware.

Steps to Reproduce

Install openvox-agent-8.19.2-1.el10.x86_64 on AlmaLinux 10
Try to run puppet agent -t
You get a ruby error "CPU ISA level is lower than required"

Environment

Version [openvox-agent-8.19.2-1]
Platform [AlmaLinux 10]

AlmaLinux 10 explicitly supports x86-64-v2, unlike RHEL, which extends to rebuilding EPEL with x86-64-v2 support.

Ah, so I suppose it depends on which architecture openvox-agent for EL10 was built on, x86_64_v2 or x86_64. Going by the filename, I'd guess the latter, meaning it requires x86-64-v3. I would expect an x86_64_v2 build to be named openvox-agent-8.19.2-1.el10.x86_64_v2.

Ah, so I suppose it depends on which architecture openvox-agent for EL10 was built on, x86_64_v2 or x86_64.

I'm not entirely sure it won't need to be built for both, but I don't know how (or even if) rpm handles that.
