Hide Terminal Window When Launching GUI Applications via OI-SG-RemoteApp-Launcher.exe #22

Description

@Eolo-paolomarazzi

Hi,

We’re currently using OI-SG-RemoteApp-Launcher.exe to run programs through Remote Desktop Services (RDS) RemoteApps. Some of these programs , such as Chrome and Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, have graphical user interfaces, while others (like MySQL or PostgreSQL CLI clients) are terminal-based.

Our goal is to improve the user experience by hiding the terminal window created by OI-SG-RemoteApp-Launcher.exe when launching applications with a GUI. In other words, we’d like to avoid remoting the terminal window when executing RemoteApps that have their own GUI.

Is there a way or a workaround to conditionally suppress or hide the terminal window based on the type of application being launched?

Thank you in advance!
