Add URL scheme support (bettercrewlink://) to allow launching the app from a web button #381

Pre-Flight Checklist

  • I am not asking a question => use the Discord if you are
  • I have checked that someone else has not reported this using the search bar
  • My feature request is not one of the commonly suggested features: iOS app (it's already being development)

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

Many users in our community find it difficult to connect BetterCrewLink to a custom voice server,
especially on mobile devices. They have to open the app manually, go into settings, and paste the URL each time,
which is confusing for new or casual players.

Describe the solution you'd like

I would like BetterCrewLink to support a custom URL scheme such as:

bettercrewlink://open

This would allow websites or community pages to include a “Launch BetterCrewLink” button.

Clicking this button could automatically open the installed BetterCrewLink app and connect to the specified server.
This would make setup much easier and more user-friendly on both Android and PC.

Describe alternatives you've considered

Currently, the only way is to open BetterCrewLink manually,
go to the settings page, select “Custom Server,” and paste the URL manually.
On smartphones, this process is cumbersome and often discourages players from joining custom servers.

Additional context

We run a Japanese Among Us community called “Enjobu Village.”
Many of our members use BetterCrewLink on Android and Windows.
Having a URL scheme like this would allow us to create an official “Launch BetterCrewLink” button on our website,
helping players connect easily and reducing setup errors.
We believe this would also benefit other communities using custom servers.
