Make a release from `2.15-maintenance`

#8535 backported a fix for #8485, which breaks Home Manager inside the sandbox on macOS. The cause and workaround aren't clear and people keep asking about it on GitHub and Matrix. It'd be great to get a 2.15.2 release as soon as feasible so we can get it in nixpkgs and make this work again.

Is this closed with the 2.15.2 release? #8385 is now being detected as an already-applied patch.

Yep, thanks for the pointer. I ended up rewriting Home Manager's option docs generation in the meantime, so it was no longer relevant to me anyway.
