I believe increasing the surface area of the button for left and right pages will enhance the user experience - as i have to be very focused when clicking as the touch area is very small and it won't succeed from the first time

Increase touch area as in the picture from the red to the green
Describe alternatives you've considered
Enhance the swipe option of the pages from the middle of the screen - when I do it I sometimes open lights by mistake
