Nested bullet lists with 4+ levels failed

E.g. a markdown with this content would break the current mk-notes:

- Level 1
  - Level 2
    -  Level 3
       - Level 4

just noticed this is documented, but for me it was not giving a proper error but just breaking the sync completely
