What is the best way to stop an MC6 Pro using a program change code to change its own hardware? #5

Description

@wyattd99

I sent a PC code from an attached device and wanting it to go via Midi Thru to another device connected to the MC6 PRO

When the code was received by the MC6 PRO it was read as a bank switch so the MC Pro stopped the midi thru. The midi Thru had been set correctly so I was assuming the code would pass OK but it didn't due the MC PRO using the Midi to change its own processing.

I read up about Toggle settings and tried to turn these off but despite following guidance on turning this setting off still had no success. So clearly I have little understanding of the purpose and use of Toggle settings.

The only other way I could see was to define the MC6 Pro to a specific Midi channel so it ignores messages sent to other channels. I was hoping I could keep everything Omni to simplify and negate the need to keep record of assigned midi channels to devices i may want to use the MC PRO6 with.

Given Im new to this controller as well as getting past my best age wise regards re IT all hints and tips gratefully accepted.
