Desktop Editor loading issue

Hello,
I am experiencing an issue on my PC with Windows 11.
When I open the editor it remains as shown in the attached file.

I am experiencing the same problem with the Morningstar Firmware updater.
The preevious versione of the editor worked well and the web editor is working fine on my Firefox Browser.

I have no issues at all on my other computer, a notebook with Windows 11.

Is there any known incompatibility with some other software or
libraries?

I'm having this same issue on mac (sequoia) in november 2025. it seems that the "offline" desktop editor now requires internet connectivity in order to start... if you connect to the internet before starting the app, it works ok. but if you're offline (as my studio machine generally is), it won't start up.

I was able to solve the issue simply by using a different USB port on my PC.

unfortunately that makes no difference for me. I've tried all available ports (and a hub) on two different computers. The app just completely freezes on startup without internet access.
