Thanks. Maybe I am missing something. I tested this on my setup, and I think Collections and folder view solve a different problem than the one I’m describing. On my home screen, Collections appears as a tile mixed into the normal “My Media” row, alongside libraries like Movies and TV. That means it still requires opening Collections first, and it does not create separate named rows on the home screen. What I’m requesting is specifically a home screen organization with named shelves that group existing Jellyfin libraries into separate rows. For example: Movies: Action, Classic Movies, Documentaries The key difference is that these groupings would be visible directly on the home screen as separate rows, instead of being hidden behind a single Collections tile or mixed into “My Media.”

Collections and Genres can be added as individual rows in most Moonfin clients now as of 2.2.0 in Moonfin-Core and 2.6.0 on smart-tv |

Great! I will have to start playing around with that. I have the Moonfin client on my tv but I haven't installed the core yet. What I was looking to do is/was similar to Netflix image below. Where in this notional mockup of Netflix those movies boxes are a set of videos and not individual videos. Looks like in lieu of having individual libraries I will have to set the genre with unique names to mimic the behavior I want.

Quick follow-up after looking through the settings more: I found that Moonfin does have options to expose Collections and Genres as rows on the home screen. Settings path I found: Settings → Personalization → Home Row Toggles Settings → Personalization → Home Sections The behavior I’m seeing/expecting is roughly: My Media Collections Genres Then each genre can also appear as its own row containing individual media items: Genre-1 Genre-2 This may get me closer to the Netflix-style. Not exactly what I suggested but a heck of a lot better than what jellyfin offers.

Feature Request: Named Library Shelves for Home Screen Organization
Summary
Add support for admin-defined "shelves" — named groups of libraries that appear as individual, labeled rows on the Moonfin home screen.
Problem
Jellyfin servers with many libraries display everything under a single "My Media" section, which becomes crowded and hard to navigate — especially on a TV with a remote. There's no way to visually separate libraries into meaningful categories.
Proposed Solution
Allow server admins to create named shelves and assign existing Jellyfin libraries to them. Each shelf would appear as its own labeled row on the home screen, selectable in the home screen row configuration.
Example:
Shelf Name | Libraries -- | -- Movies | Action, Classic Movies, Documentaries TV Shows | Drama, Sci-Fi, Sit-Coms Animation | Anime, Cartoons, Feature Films Home Videos | Birthdays, Vacations, SportsThe home screen would then show each shelf as a separate named row — exactly like your existing home row ordering system, but with library groupings as the content.

Why Moonfin is the Right Place for This
This feature needs to work on Android TV with remote navigation, not just in a web browser. Since Moonfin already handles home row ordering and syncs configuration across clients via the server plugin, shelves would automatically work across all Moonfin clients without any extra effort.
