so i only have community ratings enabled as i have nfo for every single episode/movie...but the rating wont show up, it forces TMDB on me for some reason even if its not selected in the ratings tab, the ratings show fine for other clients but not moonfin

Local ratings are not used by Moonfin at present - they are pulled in from MDBList (all overall ratings) and TMDb (episode ratings). So this is not a bug, but if you want local NFO support for ratings, that would be a feature request that could be considered. However, I do not think your approach is very common, since syncing them from MDBList and TMDb allows for easy updates as ratings change over time and so is preferable from using a static value from an NFO file.

Have you installed the Moonfin plugin on your server and provided an MBDList API key? Also, I believe the Community Rating scores come from Jellyfin and are displayed in Moonfin with a star icon.

Community rating comes from nfo first is exist. Which i do use. I dont have the plugin yet but i would assume using community rating is exist is fine since lots of ppl use many different plugins to update community rating from imdb. Be it nfo or imdb plugin…etc

But obv native solutions that happen to work in moonfin makes way more sense…
