The problem will be to find an LCD screen that a) fits into that case and b) can satisfying display the 512x384 pixels.

I found cheap displays in china: 2,8 inch 640x480 IPS

Could these displays be driven by a Tang Nano?

I never had a Mac, but this MacClock is gorgeous!
Very accurate!
It could run all cores of the MiSTle!

The 2,8 inch screen with 640x480 would fit almost perfect in the bezel but the Mac destkop would be too small...
