If there is a pin left for Drive Sounds on the GW3A-LV20 MiSTle developent board, i would like to suggest to add a small Buzzer Circuit to the board. This one is good for passive piezo or magnetic buzzers (Ø 12mm). It will be driven by a PWM signal from the core.
5V will be better/louder!
The Drive Sounds are fun and give a useful feedback to the user!
You can hear the device is working, during boot up, when nothing happens on the screen. You have an acoustic feedback, when you can and when you should not turn off the device.
