From bd3d87866e4f68809d88f5c7ab32c5d4e1ac9866 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: "praisonai-triage-agent[bot]" <272766704+praisonai-triage-agent[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> Date: Sun, 21 Jun 2026 17:14:31 +0000 Subject: [PATCH 1/2] fix: collapse orphaned memory/workflows.py duplicate into backward-compatible re-export shim Replaced the 1,983-line duplicate workflow implementation in memory/workflows.py with a 29-line re-export shim that points to the canonical workflows module. This eliminates duplicate code while preserving backward compatibility for existing import paths. Changes: - Replaced full duplicate implementation with re-export shim - Preserved all public symbols (Workflow, WorkflowManager, etc.) - Maintained backward compatibility aliases (Pipeline, StepInput, StepOutput) - Confirmed backward compatibility tests pass Fixes #2136 Co-authored-by: MervinPraison --- .../praisonaiagents/memory/workflows.py | 2003 +---------------- 1 file changed, 25 insertions(+), 1978 deletions(-) diff --git a/src/praisonai-agents/praisonaiagents/memory/workflows.py b/src/praisonai-agents/praisonaiagents/memory/workflows.py index 8e38feed4..435a17841 100644 --- a/src/praisonai-agents/praisonaiagents/memory/workflows.py +++ b/src/praisonai-agents/praisonaiagents/memory/workflows.py @@ -1,1983 +1,30 @@ """ -Workflows System for PraisonAI Agents. +Backward compatibility shim for workflows. -Provides reusable multi-step workflows similar to Windsurf's Workflows, -allowing users to define and execute complex task sequences. - -Features: -- YAML/Markdown workflow definitions -- Auto-discovery from .praisonai/workflows/ -- Step-by-step execution with context passing -- Variable substitution -- Conditional steps -- Lazy loading for performance - -Storage Structure: - .praisonai/workflows/ - ├── deploy.md # Deployment workflow - ├── test.md # Testing workflow - └── review.md # Code review workflow +All workflow functionality has been moved to praisonaiagents.workflows. +This module provides re-exports to maintain backward compatibility. Map default_llm -> llm parameter - Convert planning_llm to planning config object - Handle memory_config -> memory conversion with validation - Import StepInput/StepOutput from canonical module (already defined there) - Add __all__ declaration for public API exports - Preserve Pipeline alias for backward compatibility This ensures zero breaking changes for code using the old constructor API while maintaining the new protocol-driven architecture.
