The Patch cant perform trades with Medarot PC 1/2🥲

Hi, sorry if my question is dumb or something like that (i dont understand half of these Programming stuff, neither less python language 🙁) but i was playing the patched version in my phone of the medarot Kabuto (in My OldBoy) using local link, i decided to pass some parts and items from Part collection 2 to my main save in MR1, but when the trade menu appeared it suddenly dis
sappeard. seemingly like the emulated link cable had paired the games, but detected something wrong along the way and stopped the process of linking.

I have done some tests with both original versions of the games (and Part Collection 1), and seems like the problem is the patch on Kabuto version. If you guys atleast read this, i would be very grateful. I 100% the game with this patch and i was truly incredible, fabulous work indeed.

Hi, please don't attach ROMs to tickets. Save files are fine.

In this case, the issue is because the link protocol needed to be modified a bit for Medarot 1 unfortunately, we'll need to do something similar for the parts collection games...

However, save files should be compatible, so it should be possible to play and trade in Japanese with parts collection and then use that same save file in the patched game.

(in MyOldBoy) Basically what you have to do is take the japanese save file after performing an trade with PC 1/2, rename it to the patched Kabuto/Kuwagata.gb exact name, and then Boom! (If you didn't understand it correctly just tell me)

still, i think you should work on the Part Collection games (after some well deserved rest obviously), they aren't that much important i know. But they really add the "Fun-ability" to those old unknown games (and for getting extra end game bonuses)

But i just wanted to say that i did it!!
Just rename the japanese save file with the same name as the kabuto/kuwagata save file

Still, i think you should work on the Part Collection game series (after some well deserved rest obviously)

Glad it worked. We'll see about getting to the parts collection games at some point, but we'd like to focus on the main series games first.
