[FEATURE] Exclude specific mounts from free space alerts

Description

Add a setting, where a list of mount points can be excluded from free space alters.

Motivation

If mount storage at /mnt/* and the storage is normally full -- has a critical warning.

Alternatives Considered

It is ... of course ... an option for the user to move the mount point away from /mnt/*

Additional Information

It is not possible to use /mnt/* to mount anything that could be full where that does not represent "server critical".... without adding some type of mechanism to dismiss an individual alert (ie. choose to ignore the full condition on /mnt/my_mount) ... or by allowing specific mount points to be excluded from monitoring.

this isalready supported, the UI just doesn't advertise it loudly enough.

Open the Health panel (Overview), find the disk-space alert for the mount you want to silence (e.g. /mnt/my_mount), click the small Dismiss button on its row, and pick Permanently from the dropdown. The alert is silenced until you manually bring it back from Settings → Active Suppressions. The two non-permanent options (24 hours / 7 days) are also there for transient cases.

The dismiss is per error_key, which for disk-space alerts is the specific mount point — so silencing /mnt/my_mount does NOT affect alerts on /var/lib/vz or any other mount.

Let me know if the option is not visible for you — I'll iterate on the UI tooltip in the next beta to make the "use permanent for always-full mounts" path more discoverable.

It is not visible.

When I'm on the overview tab. I don't see entries for my mounts.

if you mean look at the "System Health Status" popup. I can see the mounts listed, and the too-full ones indicated... but their are no dismiss buttons.

You're absolutely right, and I apologize for the confusion. That feature is currently available only in the beta version and not in the current stable release. I can see you're using v1.2.2, which is why that option isn't available yet.
You can either install the beta version to use it now, or wait for the next stable release when the feature becomes officially available.

I upgraded to beta.

I don't see my mounts listed under overview.

The only place I see any reference to my /mnt/* mounts is under the system health status popup, under disk io errors.

Thanks for following up. I went deeper into the code and found a few specific cases where the Dismiss button wasn't being rendered. The fix is on develop now and the dropdown should appear on those alert rows once you upgrade again.

If you still see a row without a Dismiss option, please share a screenshot and a quick note on how those disks are mounted — that helps me cover any edge case I might have missed.
