I had the same question. Or is there a way to at least roll back the menu version? |

Hello, sorry for not being able to reply sooner. It is true that in the current version the ability to add remote storage without having to add it to the global storage was removed. However, in the upcoming version that is about to be released, this function will be available again. Thank you very much for sharing your feedback. |

Thank you for your reply. I thought I might be going crazy here when I couldn't find the option. I'll wait for the next update to drop. Thanks again. |

Hi all, can anyone advise how to now add a cifs share to an LXC?
In previous versions of ProxmenuX the option to 'add a share to the host' would go through the process, including creating the credentials file and setting the permissions correctly. That share could then be mounted inside the LXC.
Now the same option actually creates a PVE share on the host, which is available across the Proxmox cluster, when on a single app needs access to the share.
Am I confused, has the workflow changed?
