The dashboard and the info tabs would be open to everyone locally, but the terminal tab would stay secured. Rather than password-protecting the whole dashboard, we could just have the terminal show a login prompt. |

Hi, Thank you very much for the suggestion and for explaining it in more detail — I understand your idea better now. Currently, authentication in ProxMenux Monitor works globally (similar to Proxmox), so access is either protected or open depending on the configuration. What you propose would add an additional layer of security specifically for the terminal, which is an interesting approach. Since the 'terminal' feature was added to PrxMenu Monitor, would it be possible to enable password protection for local mode as well? I use Proxmox as a homelab in a minimal Openbox desktop environment; currently, the terminal grants open access without authentication, which poses a security risk. Although I use a low-privilege user to access the server locally, I would like the monitor to require a login before opening a session, ensuring the system remains secure.
