Learn Digital Sampling

An interactive toy demonstrating some quirks of digital to analog conversion. It uses a marble dropping metaphor to illustrate various concepts as aliasing, clipping, the Nyquist frequency, oversampling, etc. The original version of this program was made in collaboration with Phil Vogelwede for the Cave at the Marquette Visualization Lab in 2018. It was designed to be a guided classroom experience, and so the application has no tutorial or explanation is built into the program.

This version is updated to Unity 6 and ported to WebGL.
