Sintesi

TypeScript 6.0 introduce il nuovo errore TS2882 che richiede dichiarazioni di tipo per i side-effect import CSS. La build e il typecheck di @notes/web falliscono entrambi con 3 errori identici.

Root cause

In TypeScript 6.0, ogni import "...css" senza binding richiede una dichiarazione di modulo in un file .d.ts. In TS 5.x era silenziosamente ignorato (breaking change documentato nel blog TS 6.0).

File colpiti (non nel diff, ma rotti dal bump):

• src/components/editor/Editor.tsx righe 1-2: import CSS di @blocknote/core e @blocknote/mantine
• src/main.tsx riga 6: import di ./styles.css

Il repo non contiene nessun file .d.ts in apps/web/src/ e il tsconfig.json non referenzia vite/client, quindi i tipi per i moduli CSS non sono mai dichiarati.

Soluzione consigliata

Creare apps/web/src/vite-env.d.ts con:

/// <reference types="vite/client" />

vite/client dichiara gia tutti i moduli CSS come side-effect; con questa reference TS2882 scompare su tutti e tre gli import. Questo file viene generato automaticamente da vite create ma e assente in questo repo.

Alternativa di breve termine: hold su ^5.9 (vedi suggerimento inline su package.json).

Chiudo: TypeScript 6 fallisce su side-effect import di .css files senza module declaration. Richiede aggiungere declare module '*.css' (o config tsconfig) in più punti. Non trivial, da affrontare in PR dedicato per migrazione TS 6.
