XIAO nRF52840 Compatibility

Hi,
Firstly, thank you for the work you put into the project!

I wanted to know if it's possible to build a keyboard using the microcontroller mentioned above. From what i understand the breakouts should be identical. Also, does the rev 1.5 still support the acrylic case?

Yes it is totally possible to use this MCU, I have tried it. The only issue is that in order to get wireless connectivity, you lose most of the other functionalities. The firmware for this MCU is not as evolved as compiling Vial. My first build of the KLOR was using this MCU as I was quite excited about getting wireless link to the PC, but I soon realized that I would be frustrated not getting haptic feedback and so on... So I tried basic MCU and was again frustrated by not being able to put all firmware features I wanted due to EEPROM size limitation. The best choice for this build IMO is the Raspberry chip, but you have to forget about wireless for the moment. I haven't followed QMK FW main branch for a while so community may make some progress there, allowing a better integration of BT.
