Description
As a end user, I would like to change password length for some password because some old services are locked with fixed password length or to generate more complex password (like 64 password length).
Proposition 1: Global setting
In Settings add an option Change password length to change default password length. It could be something like the Change keyboard layout with a choice.
It could offers several common length
By clicking on a numeric value,the default password length will be update
By clicking on Custom, the user will be asked to set a length
Then the default password length will be used for future generated passwords
Proposition 2: Per Password configuration
After With/Without ext symbols screen in New password, add a screen with Password length: $default_value, by clicking on it, it will allow user to change the password length for this password only
Backup
The backup tool should also take into account the length in the backup and restore processes
