CPLD alternative

Hi, the XC9572XL-10VQ64C seems impossible to find, and the only place offering it is Aliexpress, which I don't trust much when it comes to old chips. Do you have an alternative to suggest? Mouser's proposal is a lattice LC4128V-75TN100C. Not knowing anything about CPLD I can't say if it will work or not.

Anecdotally, I have bought many XC9572XL from Aliexpress and never had any trouble. Would be fun to look at alternatives though, so if you want to redesign the board and logic to fit the LC4128V-75TN100C, give it a shot. The biggest challenge is probably around the footprint, the Xilinx part is 10x10mm while the Lattice is 14x14 due to the higher pin count, so you will have to add the tongue of the earlier design back, it won't fit between the pins as easily.
