The original Angry Birds Classic was released for IOS in 2009, before releasing to other platforms in 2010 as Angry Birds. In April 2019, the game were discontinued and removed from the App Store, Play Store, and Microsoft Store along with other remaining Angry Birds games. However, the recreated version of Angry Birds Classic released on mobile platforms in March 31, 2022, but Rovio mentioned that they were removing from the Play Store on February 23, 2023, and retitling the game to as Red's First Flight on the IOS App Store.
