I'm a 34 year old male in career progression. I was a lawyer for 9 years and I have been studying software develop since February 2022. I've been a lawyer long enough to understand that it wasn't something I want to do for the rest of my life. So, now I'm into something totally new and with the same excitement I had when I entered university in 2009. I'm currently dedicating myself to studying Javascript and Node.js, I went back to university where I'm studying Computer Science at Universidade Maurício de Nassau. I also want to improve my english (I can read and write, but I'm terrible at speaker and listener) and maybe work for a company outside Brazil. I realized that day-to-day software development is very similar to lawyer day-to-day, you always need to be studying to keep up to date and you are always doing research to do a better job. I still had a lot of thing to learn and I'm very excited about this.
