[Question] Difference between render_set and render_set_current #15

Description

@minsu1206

Hi
Thanks for sharing nice work.

I runned FisherRF for several scenes and found that the function render_set_current also outputs reasonable uncertainty maps.
However, I don't have a deep understanding of the Hessian matrix and Fisher Information. So could you explain the difference between render_set and render_set_current in terms of Fisher information? How should I interpret the uncertainty maps produced by these functions?

I'll attach one example. (I trained Nerfbusters aloe scene as an example)

[GT / Rendered Image / RGB error map (brighter color = higher error)]

gt_rgb_error_frame_1_00001

[Heatmap by render_set]

heatmap_frame_1_00001

[Heatmap by render_set_current]
heatmap_frame_1_00001_current

Thanks for considering my request.
