The logic behind this program is also applicable to any kind of console and even GUI editors, so maybe somehow point it out in program name, description to attract a wider audience? It's a good idea to attract a wider audience because, for example, PRs from developers using VIM would also be beneficial for everyone else.

Yes, Zed and Vim feels obvious.

But, a lot of other editors take a while to start, which would make it impossible to beat certain author times.
Do not know what to do about that.

I am not interested in vim, so someone else would need to implement that.

It's possible to start counting time only after first on screen render and block any input to the child process until then.

I do not know how to detect that, in vscode for example. But something like that.

Or we could ask the user to open it beforehand, our process will maybe create a tab in the opened window instead, wich would be fast enought
